Goodness, the driest chicken I've ever had. Inedible. It's in a napkin going home to my dog. My daughter had a very chewy rump. No cutlery or napkins on the table. Slow service. Too much to list. Terrible all round.
Having been today for a birthday meal with friends, I must say I really enjoyed the food served piping hot and tasty. Good and efficient service. I hope to go again.
We have been there before and the food is good and the setting and atmosphere is good. The only bad thing that happened this time around was all the tables were booked. Some were still empty, but were booked. We arrived at 5pm. We were told we had to wait an hour and a half to get a table.Should there be an hour and a half wait? Others might be able to have that table, not just us, but anyone who is just as hungry.Were those tables really booked?Or were they booked by someone playing a prank?This has happened many times before. No one turns up and everyone else has to go without because that table is booked. We found out that this had happened somewhere else. It was done as a joke. It makes the restaurant lose business because they have to turn other good clients away, not just us, and they lose them because of these pranksters. Sad. We had to go somewhere else. Sad because we like that place.
The vegan menu was delicious as well as the salad bar. I assume management has changed? Because before now the food was hardly edible :)
We had a lovely breakfast with Santa. We went as a family of 8 adults and 2 children. The staff were extremely helpful and the food was yummy. We weren't rushed after we had eaten. A very nice place to go and very reasonable prices.
