Well laid out with variety of merchandise. Delicious food and play area for the under 8s

Very disappointed....I found it strange by how efficiently 'quick' the cuppacino was ready.....no surprise then to find the coffee lukewarm and weak. ...just walked out!!

After visiting the coffee shop here today with a friend I would definitely not recommend it. After queuing for 25 minutes just to order a couple of toasties there was a substantial further wait for the order to be brought to our table. Even then only my toastie was brought to the table and wasn't what I had asked for but I waited to start eating until my friend's arrived when I thought I would point out the mistake. After a further 10 minutes my friend's lunch still hadn't arrived so she went to the till to report this and to ask them to correct my order. Mine was returned shortly after being corrected but the toastie now was luke warm and very unappetising. I wanted to wait for my friend's to arrive before I started eating but it was so cold by now that I didn't want to wait any longer. Our 'hot drinks' were lukewarm and the two young staff taking orders were totally out of their depth and worked at a snail's pace.During the whole time we were seated we had to stare at the dirty crockery etc. left by the previous diners as no member of staff came to take it away. A thoroughly unpleasant experience.

Its ok for garden stuff I guess , but the restaurant is not a pleasant experience! Its extremely busy, long queues, (hot drinks are cold by the time you sit down!) over priced and a poor choice for vegetarians or vegans. I thought a salad sandwich would be the safest bet , but no; they struggled with it! The bread was dry and they insisted it had to go through the till as a prawn sandwich and priced the same!!. Another occasion we ordered the veggie breakfast and got what can only be described as a load of boiled potatoes on top of a rocket salad, with a side bowl of baked beans ..(?) The most weird breakfast Ive ever seen! We complained and havent been back.

A great little garden centre with helpful staff. My 2 daughters (4 and 2) visited and had a play in the soft play area attached to the cafe. The soft play area is a great idea but it is let down by poor hygiene and cleanliness. With a more regular cleaning regime this would be excellent. We will be back and I will amend if they improve the standards of cleanliness.
